When I was born at the end of November 1976, the first snow fell over Augsburg. Shortly before my birth, my mother was still at the Augsburg Christmas market and was then quickly taken to the hospital by my dad in his Citroën 2CV. Before that, my father drove a Fiat 500 – here is a picture from the 1970s in Augsburg:

My father was a big fan of motor racing and cars, so just three years later I was at my first Formula 1 race at the Hockenheimring (1979) and in 1980 at my first touring car race.

​

 

   Motorsport was a deep connection to my dad, so I pulled out all the stops and earned money alongside school to sit in a Formula car for the first time at the age of 17: at the former Zakspeed racing school at the Nürburgring, Max's dad, Jos Verstappen, was one of my first teachers. Philip Peter, Christian Danner, Traudl Klink and others were also my mentors.
 
In my early 20s, I joined Mercedes-Benz, where I worked as a car saleswoman for over a decade. I then moved to BMW, then back to Mercedes-Benz, and finally became sales manager for used cars at BMW.

I have been self-employed with my business in Kissing near Augsburg for eleven years now. In addition, I established the DACH market for the auctioning of historic automobiles for Catawiki B.V., a Dutch auction house.
 
Since 2016, I have been a licensed auctioneer for vehicles and have evaluated and auctioned vehicles at a variety of classic car events, including in cooperation with MOTORWORLD in Germany.

Since 2024, I have been working in management for Lotus Sports Cars and, since November, for the all-electric Cadillac.
Since then, I have been running the Automobile Boutique together with my partner.
 
Incidentally, in the pre-Brexit era, I also imported MORGAN from Great Britain.
 
I speak fluent Italian, as I spent a lot of time in Italy during my childhood and youth. I am also business fluent in English and French. And German, of course.
 
As the automotive industry has begun to change, especially in recent years, I am also trying to transform my company: we specialise primarily in MINI and offer a range of services from workshop repairs to sales, especially for these vehicles. 
​
Nevertheless, we have decided to continue operating the workshop, especially for BMW/Mini, but also for Mercedes-Benz and Porsche.
